Match Report for SG Cup 2nd leg.

Both teams
Walking to the pitch

Recruits
Match Report:
After watching the match between Home United FC and Geylang United FC, I felt sad for Home United that they lost on total agg score(3-4).. but frustration at the head coach PN Sivaji. Why did he field No.19 Azhar Sairuddin instead on Korean import, Ham Hyeong Kyu? The korean was left on the bench from first half till the end without making an appearance into the pitch.. He lefted the bench and straight to the changing room on 83rd min after sivaji decided to use Fadzu instead of him. What a sad day for the korean.
But if you had read the preview on www.sleague.com , PN Sivaji said '' Our aim for this second game is to score early and go on from there'' but look who scored the early goal? Not Home but Geylang's captain Miroslav Latiak on the 11th min. The only one who should be commended should goes to the stand-in goalkeeper No.46 Siddiq Durimi, he did quite a number of saves to prevent geylang's players from scoring more..
With Singapore Cup out of their hands now.. Home United will forcus back on sleague next monday against Balestier Khalsa at the same ground.

SG Cup Quarter-Final 2nd-leg, Home United vs Geylang United

Home United enters the second leg tie with problems on hand. Trailing 1-2 from first leg at bedok stadium, the Protectors will miss their defensive rock Valery Hiek after he was sent off for tugging back Noor Ali, who was through on goal. Valery was shown a direct red card for the foul and will miss two matches. This match will be Home United's fifth in 15 days and fatigue are beginning to set in as the players appear jaded in the first leg.
Geylang United will have to do without Walid Yunos, Mazreswan Mustri(Both injured), Noor Ali and Baihakki Khaizan(Both suspended). While Home United will be without Valery Hiek(Suspended), Lionel Lewis, Isa Halim, S. Subramani and Ismail Yunos(All injured).
Home United will have to win in order to survie in this competition. The Singapore Cup, being Home United's only relistic chance of silverware this season will see our Protectors going all out to overturn the deficit. Any other result will see Geylang United advance to the semi-final.
It's half-time quarter-final tie. More twists will unfold in the second leg and you can be sure if excitment come this thursday!

Singapore Cup Q-Final, Geylang United vs Home United

Singapore Cup Quarter-Final 1st leg: Home United FC are in rich vein of form recently at the moment and will be confident when they turn their attentions to the RHB Singapore Cup Tournament. With four wins out in their last five matches, our Protectors will visit Bedok stadium this sunday to take on Geylang United FC in the Singapore Cup Quarter-Final 1st leg.

This match will be Home United's fourth game in a space of ten days. With such a tight schedule, Head coach PN Sivaji decided to rest several of his regulars in their last match against Albirex Niigata(S). Peres De Oliveira, Kengne Ludovick and Itimi Dickson all came off the bench while Shi Jiayi, Sharil Ishak, Tengku Mushadad were unused subs. All of them could reinstated into the starting eleven come this sunday. The Singapore Cup presents Home United last chance of getting an silverware this season and much hope will depend on the big name players to lift the game.

Be sure to head on down to Bedok stadium for the match between Geylang United FC and Home United FC! Kick-off 1945hrs.

[Preview]-Albirex Niigata vs Home United

Just after three days of match encounter with Gombak United FC which ended 1-1 at Clementi stadium. Looking into this fixture against Albirex Niigata(S) this coming thursday at Jurong East stadium where our Protectors preivously lost 0-1 to Albirex Niigata back in early march..
With two days of rest for our Protectors to recover, it seems like an uphill task for the Protectors to play hard with ramadan period going on now. But nonetheless, our Protectors will give their best to push themselves to fourth spot of the league standings.
With Rosman Sulaiman back from one match suspension, the defence at the back will be tighten, likewise in the treatment room there will be without the services of S.Subramani, Ismail Yunos, Lionel Lewis other then that we have a full squad to choose from.
Do make yourself free on that day and make a trip to Jurong East stadium to support our Protectors in action against Albirex Niigata(S)
Kick-off 1945hrs.

[Preview]-Home United vs Singapore Armed Forces

Billed as the clash of the ''Uniform Groups'' , this fixture has over the years been one to look out in each football calender. Both teams have dominated the S-League since it's inception, with Singapore Armed Forces clinching the league championship for the last three seasons.
This season, SAFFC has once again charged ahead the rest and looks odd on the retaining the championship this year. Currently on 55points, with latest 5-0 thrashing over wooden spoonist Young Lions, SAFFC comes into this match on a rich vein of form. Veteran National forward Aleskander Duric will once again lead the front and will look to add more goals to his personal tally.
Home United, has struggled for most part of the season. Failing to mount a consistent run of victories has seen our Protectors lying on fifth spot in the table with 37points. A massive 18points differential and the best we can hope for is a second or third place finish. Home United is also in good form recently from the ''Big clash''. Both Kengne Ludovick and Peres De Oliveira hit hat-tricks in past matches and they will look to halt Singapore Armed Forces's charging run to the title.
Sparks are bound to fly around stadium, can our Protectors blaze the charging ''Rhinos''? Come on down to Jalan Besar stadium this friday to support our Protectors! An electric atmosphere awaits!
Kick-off 1930hrs. (Free-Entry!)

Post Match Report & Pictures

Pictures not in order:-

Post Match Report-

Tampines Rovers suffered 2nd straight home defeats at the hands of Home United at tampines stadium by losing 2-3..

As early in 5th min, Tampines Rovers was awarded a penalty which looks like a dived from Qiu Li, Fahrudin Mustafic makes no mistakes from the penalty spot sending the Stags into an 1-0 lead.. At the 38th min, Peres De Oliveria headed the ball into the back of the tampines's net from Kengne Ludovick's cross. During the stoppage time, Zulkarnean Zainal appeared to had foul Firdaus Idros in the penalty box. P Pandian duly awarded the penalty to the Protectors and our playmaker Peres steps up and take a shot and scored from the penalty mark. With the goal, Home United lead 2-1 into the half-time.

Second half started.. 5 mins in the second half, Seiji Kaneko scored thru Mustafic's cross. With both teams tied at 2-2.. Both Tampines and Home tried to find the winning goal.. Home United efforts paid off in the 77th min when Peres scored again when Hassan Sunny parry off Kengne Ludovick fierce strike but only for Peres to score on the rebound.

Home United lead 3-2 for the next 17 mins till full-time(added with extra time). With this win, Home United leapfrogged Brunei DPMM into fourth position with 34points.

Congratulations to Peres De Oliveria for getting his hat-trick!

[Preview]-Tampines Rovers vs Home United

After black sunday on 2nd August, both Tampines Rovers and Home United will face each other at Tampines stadium this coming thursday in Great Eastern-YEO'S S.LEAGUE match encounter.
Both side played against each other back on 13 May with an 1 odd draw at Fortress Clementi back then.. Both teams recent match was on last sunday where Tampines lost to SAF by 1-2, and Home United won Brunei DPMM by 6-1..
In this upcoming match, Noh Alam Shah and Ridhuan Muhamad will miss this match due to suspensions. And not forgetting Qiu Li back from his 1 match suspension other than that tampines have a full squad to choose from. Not forgetting Home United as well, Ismail Yunos is rumored to be ruled out for the whole season after his progress of knee injuries had not been well so far..
Be sure to come on down to Tampines stadium to catch the Protectors againest the Stags! kickoff-7.45pm.
P/S: I prefer not to have K Kalimutu and Muhd Taqi as the referee for this match instead.. Both CMI in FIFA referee's standards. :D

[Updated]- Brunei DPMM vs Home United

Updated:

After being billed as the match of the season, Both SAF and Home walk away with 3points with SAF 8points clear of their title rivals Tampines Rovers after their 2-1 win at Tampines stadium which was full house. While on the other hand.. Home United beat their rivals Brunei DPMM by 6-1. A scoreline that was unexpected..but theres inside story to follow up too. K Kalimutu, referee for DPMM-Home match, had given 3 red cards to 3 brunei's players (PG Sallenuddin Damit, Yusof Salleh and Rene Komar).

It all started when Sallenuddin was given an Yellow card for making contact with one of the Home's player which he didnt touched them. Which resulted an protest from the brunei's players. The match was stopped for 20-30mins before it was started again. Before the match get going.. K Kalimutu flashed straight red cards to Sallenuddin, Yusof Salleh and Rene Komar for protesting earlier on. Which reduce them to 8men, clearly home is one 3men advantage and move on scoring goals till full-time. This is an poor handling of match by K Kalimutu but i salute DPMM for playing the game throughout till full-time although they were down to 8men. bravos DPMM! Boo(s) to K Kalimutu!! and Gratz to Home for winning this match though..

After Home United last defeat against Super Reds at Fortress Clementi on 29July, Hopes of getting the SLEAGUE Crown this season may be well over. But put this things aside first as Home United will travel to Brunei this sunday for SLEAGUE match clash against Brunei DPMM at B.S.Begawan stadium. Having known that DPMM had not lost a single matches at their so called 'Fortress Begawan'. DPMM will seek revenge on Home United after their earlier encounter match which the Brunei team lost 1-2 at Fortress Clementi.

With Isa Halim back from suspension table, it will be a boost for PN Sivaji ahead of the match. Support the Protectors in your heart and hope Home defeat DPMM's home record at B.S.Begawan stadium!

[Preview]-Home United vs Super Reds

After one week of rest, Home United will host Super Reds this coming wednesday at Clementi stadium where both teams are battling out for 5th and 6th position respectively.

Home United had lost their Japanese Forward, Norikazu Murakami as he heads to South Africa two weeks ago for new career opportunity in South Africa league based club. For sure now the strikeforce currently weaken, but we can count on the likes of Kengne Ludovick and Naruphol Ar-Romsawa to head in the goals for the Protectors.

Home United will have to do without the services of Isa Halim as he is serving his 3 match bans. Meanwhile, hop on down to Clementi Fortress to witness this exciting clash between Home United and Super Reds in action!

[Pictures]Home vs Woodlands

Home United continued their dismal away form losing 1-2 to Woodlands Wellington. Things started to go wrong when Home's Captain, S Subramani was at fault for ball watching as he looks on woodlands players run past him to scored.. And the second goal was pure excellent from Precious as he unleashed his screamer from 30yards out.. with 2 goals down our Protectors did not give up easily and scoring the only goal of the match from Nori a perfect overhead kick leaving Rezal rooted. Home almost scored a goal from a freekick fom edge of the box., taken from Valery Hiek.

Home United will face the challenge of Woodlands Wellington in the Great Eastern-YEO's S.LEAGUE match enounter this tuesday at Woodlands stadium. After 2 home matches being played at Clementi stadium.. The Protectors took home with 6points and seeing them leap-frogged Super Reds to 5th Position of the sleague standings.

Home will try their best to win Woodlands knowing that their Away form this season is starting to worry them, but having seen the first match between both side at Clementi stadium which dated back 30th March 2009 with Protectors thrashing Woodlands 4-0 back then.. But Woodlands are no pushovers.. defeating Gombak United last weekend at Jurong West stadium (1-2).

It will be a crunch game for both teams as both of the teams faced tight fixtures and have less time for the players to recover from the last match.. Who will stand tall and walk home with 3 points?
